RECIPIENTS

Users - aged between 18 and 35 - resident or domiciled in Germany or Portugal ("Participants"). The organiser reserves the right, at any time, to request proof of age. and Germany.

the project

The talents selected in the categories, will be called to work with tutors in special locations for the realisation of an artistic residency that includes:
Guaranteed hospitality and facilities at Cittadellarte Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella), Arroz Studios (Portugal), XJazz (Berlin).
Meetings, Panels and Workshops with the Tutors.
Music workshops together with the Tutors.
The creation of a show for each country which will be presented in the three countries involved.
The creation production of a documentary video of the works.
The creation of an artistic installation to be distributed in museum spaces and finally placed in the desert in future memory of the imminent extinction.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

From 22 May 2023 to 19 June 2023, all interested users, identified as under the heading RECIPIENTS, must go to www.7thex.com and register for this initiative.
To register, each candidate must:
Select the category for which they wish to participate.
Fill in the appropriate online form by entering all the required personal data.
Fill in the appropriate online form by entering as many answers as possible.
Upload your portfolio as indicated on the website.
Accept the clause on the processing of personal data and on the ownership of the material sent, and declare to have read in full and to accept the present participation conditions.
Please note that: each candidate may participate in the selection in only one of the available categories, the materials uploaded by each candidate must be original and created by the candidate.


Each user, by participating in this initiative, declares full ownership of the rights to the materials sent through the site. Participants who have published materials that are indiscreet, obscene, with violent or offensive contents, contrary to the common sense of decency or in any case not in line with the spirit of this initiative will not be admitted to the selection, at the organiser's sole discretion. Participation in the project is not transferable to third parties, nor can it be converted into money or modified in any way. Participation in the project is free of charge and the design has no profit-making or commercial purpose. The organisation provides reimbursement for travel expenses incurred by each selected candidate.

duration

Submission of applications: from 22 May 2023 to 19 June 2023.
Talent selection: by 30 June 2023.
Development of the initiative: Artistic Residence from 1 July 2023 to 1 December 2024.
Submission of applications may be made from 22 May 2023 to 11.59 p.m. on 19 June, and envisages the selection of six total talents, one for each of the categories envisaged and on the basis of the tutors' assessment.

CATEGORIES

The board will select:

  • 2 Musician 1 for each country

  • 2 Audio Producer 1 for each country

  • 2 Visual Designer / Creator 1 for each country

SELECTION OF WINNERS

All the applications received during the reference period, according to the methods specified above and meeting the requirements, will be submitted to the judgement of the tutors who - at their sole discretion - will select no. 1 winning talent and no. 1 reserve of the winning talent for each of the categories. The selection criteria will follow a qualitative assessment based on originality, ability, personality and style. The chosen ones will be contacted by e-mail, following the selection, and will receive therein the instructions and terms for formally accepting participation in the artistic project indicated below. Should one or more of the selected participants fail to respond by the deadline and in the manner requested, and/or fail to meet the age requirements, the organisers may, at their sole discretion, contact one or more of the selected participants as reserves for the winner. These reserves will in any case be required to send the organisers, in the manner and by the deadline indicated in the communication, the same documentation of acceptance, under penalty of exclusion. The organiser accepts no responsibility in the event that one of the following conditions occurs: the winner's mailbox is full; the email indicated by the participant during registration is non-existent, incorrect or incomplete; there is no response from the host computer after sending the winning notification email; the winner's mailbox is disabled; the email indicated during registration is blacklisted.

ELECTRONIC AND TELEMATIC TOOLS

The organiser declines all responsibility for any problem of access, impediment, malfunction or difficulty relating to technical tools, computer, telephone line, cables, electronics, software and hardware, transmission and connection, internet connection and mobile and landline telephone network that may prevent a user from participating in the initiative.

PERSONAL DATA

The personal data of participants in this initiative will be processed according to the privacy policy of Fondazione Cittadellarte, which each participant must read and accept before confirming his/her registration, and which can be consulted at the following link: Privacy Policy in compliance with Art.13 EU Regulation 2016/679.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

Participation in the initiative implies, on the part of the Participant, full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions of participation, which can be found in their entirety on the competition's vehicle site. Should the organisers find any violation of the rules on the part of the Participants, they shall be entitled to disqualify them without any liability.

COVERAGE OF EXPENSES

The organisation will guarantee cover of round-trip transport costs. The organisation will cover the costs of board and lodging during the stay in the facilities dedicated to the 'artistic residency'. Selected candidates are advised to bring personal equipment useful for participation in the 'artistic residency'. A full backline will be provided on site for the realisation of the project.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

The organiser is not liable for events caused by the Participants' connection to the internet via the initiative's website and/or caused by participation not attributable to the organiser's system or services. In particular, the organiser is not liable for damage or loss suffered in any way by Participants, their computer equipment and/or the data contained therein or their personal, professional or commercial activities not attributable to the organiser's system or services. If, for any reason, the initiative cannot take place as planned, such as in the event of infections caused by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, human error or other causes beyond the organiser's control that alter or affect the management, security, fairness integrity or proper conduct, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, close, modify or suspend the initiative, and to select talent from all eligible Entries received prior to the cancellation or closure of the initiative. In the event of unforeseen events, the organiser reserves the right to amend this initiative in whole or in part. In such a case, the modification will be promoted on the Competition website and the necessary changes to the present terms and conditions of participation will be made.

CONCESSIONS AND COMMITMENTS

Participants: declare that they are over 18 and between 18 and 35 years of age; they certify that they are the sole authors of the content sent and that the same is original and does not infringe the rights of third parties; they certify that the content sent does not contain material that discriminates by sex, ethnicity or religion; they certify that any persons present in the images sent have given their consent to the participation of the images portraying them in the initiative in question and to any subsequent publication by the organisers. With this announcement, the organisers do not assume any obligation to publish the content of the participants. This initiative is not subject to the regulations on prize-winning events.
